HÍCE started as a small business, owned by two students who had a dream of starting something small and using this wonderful idea to gain experience in the business environment.  Our thought was to have someone, with an excellent business brain and the others having enough knowledge in the food industry, that we would be able to create something both great and exciting, giving everyone more healthy, but enjoyable eating alternatives in life.  Healthy food is usually seen as being "tasteless" and "gross" and we wanted to change this perception.  Who doesn't want to choose the healthy ice cream alternative if it tastes just like REAL ice cream? The decision of HÍCE was made by using these words; (H)ealthy (ICE) cream !!! Today, it is owned by myself, Carla, studying Food Science and Technology at the University of North West.  I'm willing to learn day-by-day as I go and by doing something that I'm incredibly passionate about. I find that this business is more of a dream and a blessing, rather than seen as a "job".  My motto for this business is; "quality over quantity" and therefore I'll ALWAYS strive to deliver the best product possible, building new relationships and encouraging people to make healthier choices in life.
